Jamils journey of providing Quality Assurance began in 2013 after working as a security guard for NBCUniversal. Many former coworkers encouraged Jamil to move on to other careers paths as they saw the potential and hard work put into everything he did.

Jamil moved on from his time in security and applied for his first position in gaming as a QA Tester for Disney. He’s moved into more influential roles as a leader in Quality for mobile and web applications and games. Working at companies like Scopely, Fender, SpotOn, Activision has shaped him as a leader and mentor for others in Quality Assurance.

Eventually, Jamil took on the role as Live Services Producer after working as a Test Lead and Senior Test Lead at Activision. Owning the quality, prioritization and commination across various Live Ops teams for multiple features, he has work directly with other leaders internally and external across studios and with third party vendors.

Jamil has proven to be an effective partner in strategy, communication and support for everyone he’s worked with across departments wherever he has the opportunity to be employed.

Content Creation & Streaming

After almost a decade of working in Gaming & Tech, Jamil decided to start creating video content on Instagram and YouTube related to mobile tech. With no initial knowledge of what equipment to use or how to use it, he just took the process of filming and editing one day at a time.

His first few videos were filmed and edited on the LG V10 (a great smartphone at the time and underrated as a great devices for content creation), using the devices built in camera and manual controls to create unboxing and reviews videos of mobile tech.

Over time, he equipment changed to learning how to use different cameras and editing software. However, Jamil just loved using smartphones as his main filming device more and more as the technology improved and the ability to film in 4K and HDR became a normal thing. Today, Jamil uses a Pixel 10 Pro XL to film his YouTube and social media content and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit video content. Any photos taken and shared via social media are shot with that same Pixel 10 Pro XL and edited with Snapseed.

Jamils streaming careers is actually fairly recent. After an unfortunate round of layoffs at Activision, he decided to begin streaming more often. He had streamed from time to time for the past year before that, but once he had more time to commit to it, he really began to focus on making sure his setup, software and games that he streamed were all properly configured and worked without any issues.

Due to some unfortunate events, he has taken time away from streaming. Jamil will be back to streaming regularly starting on January 1st, 2026.
